Antiquities Min. to inaugurate new tomb at Luxor’s Valley of Kings

Minister of Antiquities Khaled Elanani left Cairo Friday، heading to Luxor governorate on the head of a ministerial delegation، in order to inaugurate a number of new tombs and follow-up on the repairs of other tombs and temples of the governorate.

The minister revealed in a statement to reporters، before departing Cairo that he will also inaugurate a new tomb at the Valley of the Kings and follow-up on the repairs of other tombs، as well as the work of foreign missions at the archeological sites.

Elanani explained that he will also inaugurate a hall inside the Temple of Karnak and visit Luxor Museum.

Luxor received 110 British tourists، who remained in the governorate for several days، in order to visit Luxor’s touristic attractions and archaeological sites in the western and eastern parts of the governorate، including Valley of the Kings and the temple of Karnak، during last week.
