Crews remove dead whale off Sharm El Sheikh’s shore

Authority of Natural Reserves in South Sinai Governorate removed a huge dead whale off the shore of Nabq at Sharm El Sheikh Red Sea resort. 

Boats of environmental monitoring headed to the surfed up whale. Attempts to scope it took 10 hours.
Mohamed Qutb، directors of S. Sinai Reserves، said that the whale weighs 5 tons and its length reaches about 6 meters.

He added that the whale is one of a school came to Aqaba waters in Jordan. He revealed that the cause of death is not defined yet. 

The dead whale was transferred to Ras Mohamed Reserve in south Sinai، where it was interred according the strict environmental measures to advantage its skeleton in scientific research.
