Health ministry denies raising prices of hospital service

The Information Center of the Council of Ministers denied reports about the intention of the Ministry of Health to raise the prices of medical services provided to the public in educational hospitals.

The Center contacted the Ministry of Health and Population، which completely denied the news، and confirmed that the rumors were unfounded and that there was no intention to raise the prices of health services، pointing out that the Ministry can not move the price either in the free or economic sector without consensus of Prime Minister.

The ministry added that the hospitals of the Ministry of Health is the state's arms in providing medical services، noting that it is keen to ensure the health and safety of all patients alike.

They also develop the health system in Egypt and raise its efficiency through the development of physical and human capacities، thus improving the service provided to citizens.
