Egypt eyes attractive investment climate - minister

Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasar said that Egypt is adopting strong economic reforms capable of promoting the economy. She stressed that considerable steps are also being taken to create an attractive environment for investment.
On the sidelines of the spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank، Sahar addressed the participant ministers of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four on International Monetary Affairs and Development.
Sahar conveyed Egypt’s awareness of the great importance in investing in education، which has not been a priority as it is now، and it is one of the goals of Egypt's national policy. The interest in education is not only to push forward towards sustainable development but also for its vital role in confronting terrorism and extremism.
Nasr is the head of Egypt's delegation to the spring meetings of the World Bank، currently underway in Washington between April 21-23.
Nasr's agenda includes hold meetings with officials from the WB and the International Finance Corporatio، the ministry said in a statement earlier.
She will address several high-level sessions as well، according to the statement.
