Al Ahly handball team secured the club’s African handball full domination after winning African Cup title in Morocco.
The Red Devils thrashed Tunisian side Association Sportive d’Hammamet 31-22. Al Ahly assumed domination from the start and easily finished the first set 4-16. The team also led the second set and continued to do so till the end of the game winning the match and the title for the second time in their history.
Al Ahly’s manager، Assem Hamed، claimed with his team a new record as they won their third African championship this season for the first time after winning the African Champions League title defeating Tunisia’s Esperance 26-23 in the final، in addition to the African Super Cup title at the expense of Zamalek recently، according to King Fut.
After winning all matches in the tournament، the team automatically qualified to the African Super Cup next season which takes its winner to the Super Globe Club Handball Championship.
