Sisi inaugurates new wheat soils via video conference

Egyptian President Abdul AL-Fattah inaugurated via video conference a number of new tech-based wheat soils in Bani Suef، Aswan and Damietta.
Each silo consists of a wheat receiving point where wheat is delivered. Random samples are taken for analysis during the process.
A new soils introduces a total capacity of 60 thousand tons per soil، they are equipped with temperature measurement systems، ventilation system، stockpile control system، and a ceiling unit where wheat undergoes sifting process to remove impurities، dust and minerals.
The government had revealed earlier plans to raise its silo storage capacity for wheat to 3.13 million tons in 2017/18 from 1.528 in 2015/16.
The world's top importer of grain has been implementing policies to limit the use of private-ector silos and increase its own capacity to curb smuggling and fraud in the local market.
