Nasr ink agreement with IDB to finance bird flu combat project

Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr signed on Thursday with Khaled al Abboudi، the CEO of Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) a memo of understanding on developing cooperation in the fields of investment and infrastructure projects، state-run news agency MENA reported.
The memo، which was signed on he sidelines the 42nd meeting of the group of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) came within the framework of cooperation between the private and public sectors.
Minister Nasr said the memo is part of the Egyptian government's efforts to encourage investment and partnership between the private and public sectors to finance infrastructure projects.
The minister signed an agreement worth dlr 10 million with Chairman of the IDB Group Bandar Hajjar to fiance a project for combating bird flu within the framework of the government's efforts to support the health sector.
Nasr also attended the signing of a memo of understanding between IDB and the COMESA regional investment agency to boost investments in the region.
