Minister of Investment and International Cooperation، Sahar Nasr met with Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning، Adel Mohammed، on the sidelines of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) 42nd Annual Meeting in Jeddah، Saudi Arabia.
The ministers discussed boosting economic cooperation between both sides، and the establishment of joint projects as well as the activating cooperation agreements signed recently.
Nasr pointed out that Egypt welcomes Saudi investors، stressing that the new investment law has presented a number of incentives for Arab and foreign investors، in addition to the investing opportunities presented in national projects such as Suez Canal Development project and the new administrative capital.
The minister expressed Egypt's eagerness to make use of the Saudi experience in the government performance measurement، where the two sides agreed to exchange expertisein the areas of institutional reform.
For his part، the Saudi minister expressed his country's willingness to benefit from the Egypt's experience in sustainable development and from Egypt's report to the United Nations on voluntary review of sustainable development goals.
