Informed sources at Cairo International airport revealed that roughly 34 flight will head on Monday، carrying a total of 7300 would-be Egyptian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia، as a part of the Cairo-Jeddah air bridge started early in March.

Muslim pilgrims often perform Umrah during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar، Ramadan، in Mecca، Saudi Arabia، which can be undertaken at any time of the year، in contrast to the Hajj.

Umrah and Hajj seasons are regulated by Saudi authorities to ensure that the holy sites and lodging in Makkah and Madinah are able to accommodate millions of visitors، which is needed for crowd control and avoid death cases.
