The 2018 Mustang is coming soon، but we're getting a little sneak peek of packaging and colors that will be available thanks to a leaked order guide. Posted on the Mustang6g forums، the guide shows the 2018 Mustang will continue to offer optional performance packages، but exteriorinterior packaging gets switched up a bit. Autoweek said
Both the EcoBoost and GT will carry over their respective performance packages from 2017. The EcoBoost gets unique suspension and stability control tuning، a larger radiator، 19-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in summer rubber and an upsized rear sway bar to aid handling and performance. Meanwhile، the GT continues to offer Brembo six-piston front calipers، revised suspension tuning، heavy-duty front springs and a larger rear sway bar.
New for 2018 however، is the addition of a carbon fiber interior package including a carbon fiber instrument panel and shift knob، plus suede seat and door inserts. Notably absent from color choices is the eye-catching grabber blue، replaced by Kona blue on the ordering guide. Crimson and orange fury are the other two new colors available in 2018.
Power figures for 2018 still haven’t been released، but they can’t be too far off now. One thing we know and are looking forward to trying out is the new line lock function on the EcoBoost revealed a week ago.
