Eng. Mohamed Abdel Raouf، a member of Union of Construction and Building Union، said that the ongoing hiking in costs of cement and reinforcement steel presents a major crisis to urban developers. He warns that those challenges threaten freezing the mega national projects over the coming period.
Abdel Raouf urges government to interfere to cease what he called “economic terrorism” which takes place in the market.
He claimed the type of terrorism is more dangerous than other sorts of terrorism.
For example، he pointed out that price of a ton of reinforcement steel dropped in most countries.
