Tourism Expert Ehab Mousa said that Egypt's membership in the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization reflects the true status of Egypt's tourism in the world and particularly in the Middle East "Egypt is considered number one tourist destination for tourists around the world due to its diversity of sites" Mousa added.
In an exclusive statement to Sada Al-Balad، Moussa said that this membership is natural as Egypt global standing is known to all. "Egypt is ranked among the world's top tourism countries" he added.
Moussa explained that Egypt is one of the three most important religious tourism countries after Saudi Arabia and Palestine in the Middle East and the most important country in the world in religious culture and has the best diving areas in the world.
Egypt won the membership of the Executive Board of the World Tourism Organization for the Middle East for a period of four years by a majority of votes during the forty-third meeting of the Organizing Committee held on Tuesday in Chengdu، China، as part of the twenty-second session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization From September 11 to 16.
