Antiquities Minister: Global attention to archaeological discoveries in Egypt..

Minister of antiquities، Khaled Anani said that France is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Abu Simbel Temple ،adding that there is a series of other celebrations organized by the Ministry of Antiquities with foreign embassies، including the Swiss Embassy and the Italian Embassy.
In an interview with the media، Sherif Amer، in the program "Happening in Egypt" on MBC Egypt، Anani said that he would give a lecture on the discovery of the temple and the conditions of its discovery in the early 19th century. The lecture will be under the title "The Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World".
Anani also said that more than 600 guests from French ambassadors to political leaders were expected to attend the celebration of the discovery of the Temple of Abu Simbel، adding that copies of Egypt's artifacts، a wheelbarrow and a model of the Abu Simbel temple had been moved.
He stressed that UNESCO is a key partner of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities as the savior of the Temple of Abu Simbel، noting that the Egyptian cultural and archaeological product is distinct، diverse and unique.
The Minister of Antiquities stressed the interest of the world in the recent archaeological discoveries in Egypt، the latest of which was discovery of the tomb of the "gold maker" on the western bank of Luxor. People around the world also keep asking about the date of the opening the large museum.
