Ambassador: Number of British tourist nights to Egypt increased by 63%

British Ambassador to Egypt، John Casson، Said that the number of British tourist nights to Egypt increased by 63%، pointing out that the British tourism in Egypt has increased intensively.

In a statement to Dmc satellite channel، the ambassador assured that this is a part of the success of the Egyptian economic program.

There are 40 direct flights from Britain to Egypt every week، casson revealed noting that the British government is in constant contact with the Egyptian government to organize flights to Sharm el-Sheikh.

Last august; Minister of Tourism Yahya Rashed said that the image of Egyptian tourism has changed a lot from what it was six months ago.

He pointed out that the tourism movement has increased significantly during the past six months.

Rashed said in his interview with anchor، Eman Al-Hussari، in "DMC Evening" program broadcasted on "DMC" channel that Egypt is the second highest country in the world in tourism growth، pointing out that this indicator is reassuring that we are moving in the right direction.
