Outstanding drama production in the field of human rights 2017 award ceremony, kicked off Monday evening, under the auspices of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), at the small theater at the Egyptian Opera House, in Cairo.
President of the National Council for Human Mohamed Fayeq kicked off the ceremony by his speech, during which he stressed that the council is keen to honor the work that sent several messages to the Egyptian society, stressing that the drama series progressed significantly from previous years.
The Technical Committee of the National Council for Human Rights announced its selection of “Haza Al Masaa” and “Halawet El Donia” as one of the best drama series, from 4 series selected by the Council, and honored the cast members of the series.
The cast members of TV series “Al-Gamaa”, “Kalabsh” and "waha el grob"were also honored during the ceremony.
A number of celebrities and public figures had attendded the ceremony, including
Ahmed Dawood، Arwa Gouda، Hanan Motawie who co-starred in both series, and Yasmin Abu Al Yazeed, Ragaa El Geddawy, Anouchka، and others.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of a large number of celebrities who presented drama works in Ramadan, including Abdul Aziz Makhion, Sabreen and Mohammed Fahim, and Mohammed Bayaa, Khaled El Nabawy, and other prominent figures.
Noteworthy، the drama series was aired during Ramadan 2017، and is considered to be one of the top series aired during the holy month.

The series revolves around a young girl who is planning her wedding when she learns she has cancer. Her life turns upside down، from a joyous bride to a sick young woman who endures the painful experience of fighting the disease.
Meanwhile، Haza Al Masaa series co-starring Eyad Nassar، Ahmed Dawood، Mohamed Farrag Hanan Motawie، Arwa Gouda، and others.
The series is set in a drama thriller setting، and revolves around two entirely different worlds that examine marital relationships and how they deteriorate over time and the effect of that on life in both worlds.
