Cairo Governor: Beating students at schools is forbidden

Atif Abdel Hameed، Governor of Cairo، stressed the need for concerted efforts by the government and civil society to improve the education system integrally.
He also said that teachers and officials at educational departments are entitled to provide all means to attract and encourage students to attend school throughout the school day.

He advised to ban all method of beatings students and take the other method of guidance and punishment consecutively in accordance with the violation.

This came during the opening of two new schools for basic education in the city of Asmarat: Tahia Misr 1 and Tahia Misr 3.
The 2 schools started providing educational service at the beginning of the year. The governor was accompanied by Major General Mohamed El-Asar، Minister of Military Production، Dr. Tarek Shawky، Minister of Education، Governor of the southern region and Farida Mujahid Directorate of the Directorate of Education in Cairo، and a number of leaders of the province and the Ministry of Education.
