Mamdouh Elssbiay also known as “BIG Ramy” Egypt IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness) professional bodybuilder placed second place in Mr. Olympia 2017.
BIG Ramy said in an interview with TV presenter Sherif Amer on MBC Egypt that he trains 2 hours every day, one in the morning and other in the evening.
Ramy explained that he first started participating in international professional championships in 2013 as he won 1st in New York City.
He started participating in Mr. Olympia in 2014 when he finished in seventh place. In 2015, the 33-year old progressed to the fifth place and then finished fourth in the following year.
Apparently, he is getting closer to the title, as he continued and placed second in Mr. Olympia 2017.
My teamwork and I are working to achieve the best in the international championships, he said.
BIG Ramy was asked in the interview, how do you get your clothes? Ramy said they are being made especially for me.
Ramy then revealed that he first went to Kuwait to work as a fishing man, and when he got the chance to be a professional bodybuilder, he immediately started working on achieving his dream.
Ramy confirmed that he was training in Kuwait but he represents Egypt in all international championships.
Just few days after Mr. Olympia 2017, BIG Ramy won the professional bodybuilding championship Arnold Classic Europe 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.
Arnold said that he feels proud representing Egypt internationally.
