Dr. Abla Ibrahim، UNESCO adviser، director of the Department of Women، Family and Children of the former Arab League، said that Egypt had received promises from African countries to give their votes to Ambassador Moushira Khattab in the UNESCO presidency elections، but some of them gave up these promises.

"The secret of the change in the African position and the lack of supporters of Egypt's candidate، although it is the candidate for all of Africa، not only Egypt، is due to political alignments،" she said.

As for the possibility of changing Egypt's position towards countries that are overdue، the UNESCO consultant stressed that Egypt's position will not change because the game of politics can not be controlled by anger.
