Egyptian human rights advocate Moushira Khattab remained in third place، but received one more vote than the previous night، bringing her tally up to 13.
During three rounds، no candidate has acquired the 30 necessary votes of 58-member Executive Board to replaced Irina Bokova، whose tenure expires at the end of the year.
The vote would continue to a four round if the 30-vote quota was not met set for Thursday، to reach a decisive fifth round including the top two candidate from the fourth round.
France and Qatar's candidates shared first place with 18، Khattab of Egypt finished third with 13 votes، leaving Qian Tang of China in the fourth place with 5 votes and Lebanon’s Vera El Khoury came in the rock bottom with 4 votes.
