The French- Swiss archeological commission has uncovered a minor pyramid، made of rose granitite next the step pyramid of Sakkara، south to Giza Governorate.
D r Mustafa Waziri، General- Secretary of the Higher Antiquities Council، made clear that height of minor pyramid reaches 130 cm، one side of 35 cm and the base is 110 cm.
It is thought that the mini pyramid was packed with either copper or gold.
Waziri added that the mini pyramid might be used to cap a bigger one.
That is an architectural style in the Middle State in Ancient Egypt.
Philip Colombier، head of the French- Swiss commission، said that the mini pyramid was spotted south the pyramid of King Pepi I، a king of the sixth Dynasty.
