Spokesman for the presidency Bassam Radi denied what have been reported that the outgoing Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri would pay an official visit to Egypt on Monday.
"We welcome at any time the arrival of Saad Hariri،” Rady said in televised remarks، pointing out that the date for the visit has not been set so far.
Rady said that President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi and his French counterpart Macaron held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the Lebanese situation in particular، in addition to touching on the recent development in the region.
He also pointed out that President al-Sisi's visit to Cyprus، set for Monday، is an evidence of the close relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Egypt’s President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi is due to land in to the Cypriot capital of Nicosia on Monday in an official two-day visit، during which he will participate in the Tripartite summit between Egypt، Cyprus and Greece.
