MP Saied Taiema، a member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives، said that the tripartite summit attended by president Sisi in Cyprus with his Greek and Cypriot counterparts is of great importance in the interrelationships between countries، as it will focus on confronting terrorism، working on development and progress، and economic cooperation between the two countries.
President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi pays a visit to the Cypriot capital of Nicosia on Monday in an official two-day visit، during which he will participate in the Tripartite summit between Egypt، Cyprus and Greece.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radhi said that the president is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiadis and senior Cypriot officials to discuss means of enhancing bilateral relations at all levels.
The talks come in the framework of close relations between Egypt and Cyprus and the distinguished joint cooperation for intensive consultation on issues of common concern.
In recent months، meeting between officials of the three countries have taken place in preparation for November summit، the latest was a meeting between the three ministers in September on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
