Tunisian Foreign Minister، Sabri Bash Tabji left Cairo on Monday after attending the emergency meeting of the Council of Arab foreign ministers at the Arab League. During the emergency meeting، the Arab ministers discussed how they would deal with the Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries. The ministers had assigned the Arab Group in New York to address the President of the Security Council to clarify the Iranian violations of Security Council Resolution No.2231. The address includes the Iranian developments of the ballistic missile program and Iran used it for attack purpose، not for defense as they claimed. Such missiles threaten Arab national security. During the meeting، the ministers stressed the right of Saudi Arabia to defend its territory legally and to condemn the continuing Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain. Moreover، they condemned the continued occupation by Iran of the three UAE islands (Greater Tunb، Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa). The council blamed Lebanon's Hezbollah، "the partner in the Lebanese government،" for supporting terrorism and terrorist groups in Arab countries with sophisticated weapons and ballistic missiles. The council decided to ban satellite channels funded by Iran and broadcast on Arab satellites as they threat Arab national security by provoking sectarianism، denominationalism and ethnic strife.
