Egypt’s President، Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi said that Cyprus and Greece are committed to all efforts to restore security and stability in the middle East، and the Mediterranean sea regions، stressing that Cypriot، and Palestinian issues topped Nicosia summit officials talks.
In his word during a joint press conference، Sisi added that terrorism is a major threat to the region security، noting that all world countries should unite to provide a safe life for the citizens، preserve the human rights، and counter the extremist ideology.
Sisi underlined that they have discussed all the problems and challenges facing the region nowadays، stressing “Terrorism is one of the major problems facing the whole world”.
Noteworthy، President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi arrived on Monday in Cypriot Capital of Niscosia in an official two-day visit.
Al-Sisi expressed his happiness to visit Cyprus، praising the historic and strong relationships between both countries.
In his word during a joint press conference with the Cypriot president on Monday Sisi pointed out to Cyprus positive attitude in supporting the pivotal developments witnessed by the Egyptian state at the political level and the economic reform measures.
Sisi added that the official talks with his Cypriot counterpart addressed ways to boost cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
In recent months، meeting between officials of the three countries have taken place in preparation for November summit، the latest was a meeting between the three ministers in September on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
