Ghanaian Civil Aviation Minister, Cecilia Abina toured the airport of the new administrative capital, Thursday.
She was in a visit to Egypt to discuss cooperation support.
Her visit also aims to benefit from Egyptian experiences in transport field.
The Minister was accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Saeed Mahrous, President of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation and Egyptian senior officials.
On Wednesday, Ghana's aviation minister signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Egypt's Minister of Aviation, Sherif Fathi, to boost cooperation in the fields of civil aviation and benefit from Egyptian expertise in training and maintenance.
Cecilia will meet Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister, Sherif Fatehy.
She will also visit the Egyptian Academy of Aeronautics, EgyptAir Training Center and EgyptAir Maintenance.
