Enas Abdel Halim، a lawmaker released an urgent statement accusing the Ministry of Education of neglecting revising curricula of various grades.
This negligence led to disdain the national colors.
The lawmaker said that article 223 of the Constitution affirms that flag of Arab Republic of Egypt consists of three colors، the black، white and red.
A golden eagle of Saladin rests in the middle stripe of the flag.
Abdel Halim warns that law punishes who degrade the national colors.
She further said that the Ministry of Education disdained the flag.
She omitted the eagle of the Arabic language textbook of the fifth grade.
So the national flag appeared resembling one of Yemen.
The lawmaker demands a strict revision of school textbooks to avoid those hideous mistakes.
