Palestinian President، Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen will head to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to hold talks with Saudi King، Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

Abu Mazen’s visit comes just before US Vice President، Mike Pence's upcoming visit to the Middle East، Wednesday.

Meanwhile، Palestinian Authority had refused to receive Pence، protesting against US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israeli occupation.

Fatah spokesman Osama al-Qawasmi told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Abu Mazen will fly to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for meetings with the Saudi leadership in Riyadh.

Moreover، al-Qawasmi added that Abu Mazen will leave Riyadh after attending an important meeting of the Palestinian Authority leadership on Saturday evening.

He pointed out that the visit comes to address Trump’s decision on Jerusalem.

Noteworthy، this visit will be the second of Abu Mazen in one month، after a surprise visit before the tenth of last November.
