Egypt’s President، Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi issued on Tuesday a presidential decree to extend the emergency stat across Egypt for another 3 months.

The decision will be implemented from Friday، 13 January 2018 at 1:00am Cairo local time.

The decree has been published in the official gazette.

Egypt had imposed the state of emergency for the first time in  last April after two church bombings killed at least 45 people. Egypt then extended it in July for a further three months.

Noteworthy، a deadly attack had been carried out at a Coptic church in a Cairo suburb on Friday، leaving 10 dead and nine injured.

The church attack took place on Friday morning when two armed men used firearms to target dozens of Christian، according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior.

Egypt suffers from many terrorist attacks.

Police and Army exert strong efforts to thwart such attacks.
