243 Egyptians back home from Libya over past 24 hours

As many as 243 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours، said Marsa Matrouh Security Chief Hesham Nasr on Friday.

In a statement on Friday، Hesham said that the port received 243 Egyptians، including 175 travelled illegally while 68 arrived after infiltrated into the neighbouring eastern border country.

He said that 845 people entered Libya through the crossing، including 199 Egyptians and 646 Libyan nationals.

He added that 95 trucks loaded with goods، food، building materials and marble crossed to the other side، while 175 trucks entered Egypt coming from Libya.
