Al Masry coach، Hossam Hassan decided to submit a resignation to the administration of the team officially on Tuesday after the upcoming clash with Wadi Degla in the 18th round of Egyptian Premier League (EPL).
Hossam will resign due to “inaction” of the team’s management headed by Sami Halabya، according to sources.
According to Hossam، Halabya failed in defending against the attack on the coach by Zamalek president Mortada Mansour، and even more he requested Hossam to apologize for what he said after Al-Masry’s defeat against Al Ahly (1-0) in Egypt Super Cup last Friday.
“I’m not Al Zamalek to defeat 3-0 or beaten by a high score; I’m the coach of Al Masry،” Hossam said after Egypt Super Cup، the announcement that made Mortada so angry.
Moreover، Mortada had launched words-attack against Hossam Hassan، but Halabia replied that the Al Masry administration respects Al Zamalek، and rejects what coach Hossam said.
Noteworthy، Al Ahly crushed Al Zamalek 3-0 in EPL then beat Al Masry 1-0 in Egypt Super Cup، Al Ahly’s two victories occurred within just one week.
