Egyptians visit Gamal Abd Al Nasser’s tomb

Dozens of Egyptian citizens visited today، Monday، the tomb of late president Gamal Abd Al Nasser in Nasr City district in Cairo، to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the late president.
President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi said on Monday That the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser believed in the ability of the Egyptian people to fight ignorance and poverty.

He “Abdel Nasser” was always keen on the interest of the homeland، the freedom of Egyptians and the dignity of his people، "Sisi" added in his speech on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser، on Monday.

he did his best to place Egypt in the high status it deserves regionally and internationally، the president noted.

Sisi pointed out that Nasser's influence extended to revolutions of liberation throughout the world، not only the Arab region، where the struggle of the Egyptian people under his leadership inspired and motivated the liberation movements in Africa، Asia and Latin America، hence Egypt has become a global symbol of the principles of national dignity، and independence.

Sisi stressed that late president Gamal Abdel Nasser embodied during his regime the Egyptians’ hopes towards independence and dignity.

He added that Abdel Nasser believed in the Egyptians’ ability to achieve national self-development and fight poverty، ignorance and disease.

Sisi vowed to continue this process and do his best to achieve Egypt’s supreme interests.

Moreover، Sisi pointed out that Abdel Nasser inspired the revolutions of liberation in the whole world.
