Parliament Speaker Dr. Ali Abdel Aal left Cairo to Bahrain leading a parliamentary delegation، according to a statement by the Parliament on Saturday.
The visit comes upon an invitation sent by Bahraini Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Rashid al Malla.
Some informed sources participated in Abdel Aal’s farewell stated that the Egyptian Parliament Speaker is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with senior Bahraini officials to discuss means to foster bilateral relations، especially at the parliamentary level. Such a visit also aims to discuss the latest developments at the regional and international arenas. It is worth mentioning that Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi paid a visit to Bahrain in May 2017 for a series of talks with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and responding to foreign interference in Arab nations.
The two leaders discussed ways to promote unity between allied Arab countries، with a view to promoting their interests in the face of foreign interference in domestic affairs
