Dr. Fouad Shaker، an economic expert، said that، under clear directives of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi، Egypt is currently drawing up pro-private sector policies in order to encourage attracting more local and foreign investments.
He pointed out that the meeting held between President Al-Sisi and EFG Hermes Investment Bank، which included about 39 investors who participated in the conference، confirms the support of Egypt’s political leadership and its appreciation of the important role played by the private sector along with the government in the coming period.

In statements to Sada El-Balad، he said that the President reaffirmed his commitment to meeting with regional and international investment funds to communicate that Egypt is now more than ever committed to upholding an open policy to encourage investment by overcoming hurdles that investors face.
During the meeting، the president added that Egypt currently presents a solid investment opportunity for various sectors، noting that the success of its home-grown economic reforms rest squarely on the consistent support of the Egyptian people.

Dr. Fouad Shaker stressed that the recent period witnessed significant economic changes، foremost of which are the measures taken within an economic reform، pointing out to the positive reaction to these measures، which contributed to improving the performance of the investment climate.
