Al Masry officials threatened to withdraw from Egyptian Premier League before the upcoming clash against their rivals of Al Zamalek.
The clash is scheduled to take place tomorrow in the 20th round of EPL.
Al Masry SC management، led by Samir Halabya sent an official fax to Egyptian Football Association (EFA) asking them to abide by the number of fans allowed to be in the stands of the two teams in accordance with the rules set by EFA.
Al Masry stressed that the number of the fans must be equal from both sides or the club will withdraw from the championship.
Meanwhile، tensions between Al Masry and Al Zamalek upraised due to the remarks of Al Zamalek’s President، Mortada Mansour and Al Masry Coach، Hossam Hassan.
Noteworthy، EFA President، Abu Rida announced last month that crowds will return to seats over the current soccer season.
He further said that Maj. Gen. Magdy Abdel Ghaffar okayed the return of soccer fans to the seats after years.
