Australian Ambassador in Cairo Neil Hawkins said on Sunday that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Australia exceeds $650 million per year، expressing the hope to increase the volume of joint investments between the two countries to commensurate with the high level of bilateral relations.
This came during a meeting of the members of Alexandria Business Association (ABA) with the ambassador to discuss ways to support cooperation between businessmen in both countries، focusing on successful vocational training models.
The members of the association stressed the importance of vocational training programs in creating job opportunities for young people in accordance with the market needs of the market، especially in light of Egypt’s strategy to give more training opportunities for professions، crafts، and small projects that contribute to the development of the national economy.
for his part، Hawkins praised the positive and important role played by Alexandria Business Association in serving civil society and the implementation of development projects that contribute to the development of the economy. He stressed that the Australian companies are currently considering pumping new investments in Egypt due to the recent investment facilities recently presented within the economic reform programs pursued by the Egyptian Government.
