Camel racing concludes in S. Sinai today

Maj. Gen. Khalid Fouda، Governor of South Sinai said that he is keen on supporting racing camel there.
He pointed out this race is a part of Bedouin heritage and attracts more tourists to S. Sinai every year.
Fouda attended conclusion of the ceremony camel racing which was mounted by Hegen Club at El Tor in the south of Sinai Peninsula.
The racing camels ran for 45 km in the open area near El Tor to define the winner.
On his side، Eid Saleh، chairman of the Egyptian Heggen Federation said that the last version of the race was very successful.
Tribes of Sinai، Suez، Ismailia، Sharqia and other governorates are very interested in racing camels.
Egyptian contestants will take part in camel racings in the Gulf states later.
