Egypt’s highly anticipated film “Torab El Mas” (Diamond Dust) will be premiered during the three-day Muslim Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The film's production company، New Century Art، announced its decision after they recently finished filming the film's last scenes، which was a scene between Asser Yassin، and Menna Shalaby.
"Torab El Mas" is the adaption، and holds the same title، of Ahmed Mourad’s 2010 novel، which had achieved a huge success.
The film plot revolves around Taha، who is living a boring life and works as a medical representative at a pharmaceuticals company. Taha is good with words and attracts a lot of customers to buy his company's products. At home، he is living with his disabled father. When a mysterious murder occurs، Taha's world as he knows it changes forever، as he starts tracking down many secrets that show him a new world based on crime and corruption.
The film co-starring various A-list cast including، Ezzat El Alaily، Asser Yassin، Menna Shalaby، Maged El Kedwany، Mohamed Mamdouh، Eyad Nassar، Sherein Reda، Sabreen، Ahmed El Fishawy، and directed by Marwan Hamed.
Asser latest artistic work is 2017’s Ramadan TV series “30 Youm”، which was considered one of the top standing TV series in the ramadanic TV marathon.
This is not the first time Asser Yassin، Menna Shalaby، and Mohamed Mamdouh to cooperate together، they co-starred in 2010 film Bebo we Basher.
The film tells the story of Egypt’s national basketball team which brings together the players Ahmed Khaled، Mohamed Said، Haitham Saharty and Amr El Guindy.

Many Muslims attend communal prayers، listen to a khutba (sermon) and give zakat al-fitr (charity in the form of food) during Eid al-Fitr.
Eid al-Fitr 2018 in Egypt will begin in the evening of Thursday، June 14، and ends in the evening of Sunday، June 17.
