Sculpture founds “Frafra Oasis” museum from clay، pottery

Badr Abdel Ghany، an Egyptian sculpture has founded Frafra Museum at an oasis situated in the depth of the Western Desert.
He uses the local raw materials to make statues to documentize habits and heritage of the inhabitants.
The museum compromises several chambers to house the Bedouin heritage.
National and foreign tourists flock to visit that museum.
Laila Faramawy، Director of Training and Publishing at the Ministry of Antiquates، said that B. Abdel Ghany founded that museum with his own resources to keep Frafra from distinction.
He uses palm tree trunks، sand and clay to mould statutes expressing the local environment.
It is worth to mention that Frafra is one of a number of oasis’s locate in the Western Desert.
