Egypt’s Minister of Planning، Follow-up and Administrative Reform Dr. Hala Al-Saeed، met a delegation of the World Bank today in Dubai، UAE.
She discussed with the delegation ways of cooperation expected between the two parties to support the administrative reform plan adopted by the government to improve the administrative apparatus of Egypt.
The Ministry has set a program for administrative reform and institutional development، Al-Saeed said during her visit to UAE on the sidelines of her participation in the 2018 World Summit of Governments.
She added that the ministry is taking quick and steady steps to implement it to improve the administrative apparatus of Egypt as well as to enhance the efficiency of the staff of the apparatus.
Meanwhile، WB representatives expressed their desire to support the development of the frameworks on which small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are created; thus helping to grow these projects.
The World Bank also expressed its desire to find out ways to market these projects at the regional and international levels as well as providing technology support to existing platforms such as the Egyptian Government Portal and the Procurement Gateway.
On the sidelines of the summit، Al-Saeed also reviewed a report on the achievements of the sustainable development strategy and the UN goals through the vision of Egypt 2030.
