Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry affirmed Egypt's keenness to strengthen its relations، especially at the economic levels، with Spain، following the recent reform decisions taken by the Egyptian government during the recent period. He stressed that Egypt hails the value of mutual investments between the two countries.
During a joint press conference held with his Spanish counterpart، Shoukry added that Egypt is abided by its commitments and preserving the interests of its partners in a way that maximize the benefit between the two countries.
He pointed out that the Palestinian issue tops Egypt’s priorities in the Middle East Region. He added that Egypt is always keen to bring the peace process back the right track in order to achieve permanent peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis and establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived in Madrid early this morning for a two-day visit to boost bilateral ties، the ministry's spokesman said. Shoukry met with Spanish King Felipe VI، during which the Egyptian top diplomat highlighted the distinguished Egyptian-Spanish relations، especially at the economic and political levels.
