Flights between Cairo and Moscow are due to resume within the upcoming few days Egyptian ambassador in Moscow Ihab Nasr said Tuesday.
In remarks to the Russian Sputnik، he said that the EgyptAir and Moscow are currently working on the agreement to officially resume flights، pointing out that it is ‘commercial issue’ and will be settled within days.
The Egyptian move came as part of a joint agreement with Moscow last December on cooperation in airports' security.
The flights between the two countries will resume after a two-year hiatus.
Egypt Air is currently finalizing arrangements to resume flights to Russia and to re-open the company's Moscow office، according to the same source.
