The Ministry of Finance released a statement today، Monday، says that revenues of the public budget grew by EGP179.9 billion in the four months between July 2017 through October. This sum is compared with EGP 131.73 billion in the same period year on year with an increase estimated at EGP 47.9 billion. The statement revealed that the various sources of the public revenues such as taxation includes Value Added Tax (VAT)، income tax، tax on property، customs duties and others. Non-taxation revenues which other sources and foreign aids reached EGP 39.6 billion over the four months mentioned above. It is worth to mention that Egypt carries out an ambitious reform program to mend deformations of the national economy.
