Investment Minister Dr. Sahar Nasr expressed her happiness over the inauguration of a number of investors' services centers in a number of governorates.

The centers had been opened in the presence of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and Prime Minister Eng. Sherif Ismail، early Wednesday.

Nasr stressed that this is a clear message to support the political leadership to encourage investment and improve the investment climate in light of the difficulties we face.

“We suffered from a severe deterioration of the economy before 2014، there was no strategic investment program، no investment law supporting investors and the state had a poor infrastructure،” Nasr said during the opening of the centers.

“After 2014، Sisi took responsibility for the economy and took decisions to reform the economic program in order to  create a good investment climate for domestic and foreign investment،” she added.

She pointed out that the political leadership was keen to increase foreign direct investment. ”Accordingly، the state amended the laws and inaugurates projects to suit the renaissance of investment.
