Confederation of African Football (CAF) has sent an official letter to Al Zamalek stating that defender Hamdi Al-Wensh has been suspended from the first leg of the 32nd round of African Confederations Cup.
Al-Wensh's suspension came as a result of being sent off in the last meeting of Al Zamalek of against Tripoli's Libyan Ahli in the framework of the 16th round of the Champions League last year.
Zamalek defender Al-Zamalek has been suspended for Dicha clash on March 6 and will be ready for the return match scheduled for mid-January.
Al-Wensh is one of the players on whom Ihab Galal depends on Zamalek's technical standards in light of the good levels that the player has showed recently and the wonderful level he offers and the great technical and physical potential he possesses.

CAF have confirmed the date of Zamalek’s away clash with Ethiopia’s Welayta Dicha، set for March 7 at Ethiopia before Zamalek host Welayta Dicha at the Army Stadium in Suez 10 day later.
