“We aim to benefit from our scientists abroad”، PM Says

Environment Minister، Dr. Khaled Fahmy gave a word on behalf of Prime Minister، Sherif Ismail during “Egypt Can..by sons of the Nile” conference، kicked off earlier today، Sunday in Luxor، under the auspices of Egypt’s president، Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

The Minister delivered PM greetings to all the conference participants، stressing that “Egypt Can” conference aims at benefiting from Egyptian scientists abroad by encouraging national industry through legislations to serve these industries.

Moreover، he stressed that the ministry works to implement the sustainable development strategy، and to integrate it in a number of fields including; electricity، Oil، irrigation، and others.

He also pointed out that the Ministry aims to quickly confront urgent problems such as sanitation، air pollution، and others.

Noteworthy، The activities of 'Egypt can..by sons of the Nile' conference kicked of today، Sunday in Luxor.

The conference that lasts for two days، is held under the auspices of president Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi.

In its third edition، the conference deals with water file as one of the important issues in the country، in addition to the Water challenges under climate change.

On Monday، the conference will discuss the applications of space technology in water and the ways to create sustainable rural communities.

The conference will include a number of Egyptian scientists and experts who have made great achievements in the fields of agriculture، irrigation and water resources.

The Conference honors 23 Egyptian scholars working abroad and participate in the conference.
