UEFA suspends Samir Nasri for doping

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has suspended Samir Nasri for a year for doping.

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that the 2016 doping test has resulted a negative sample because of Nasri used a banned blood treatment، which caused him to be suspended.

The sentence has been commuted from two years to one year and will be officially announced by the UEFA on Monday.

The report of the Marca newspaper pointed out that Nasri's contract with the Las Palmas team was threatened after the announcement of the suspension officially.

The reason for the presence of doping in the sample Samir Nasri is undergoing treatment in a clinic during the winter holiday in 2016، but received a prohibited treatment.
