Egyptian Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa will inaugurate، on behalf of the prime minister، on Monday the 28th International Conference for Islamic Affairs.
The two-day conference would be held under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi with the aim of tackling dangers of terror and means to face it.
In a statement، Gomaa said that an intellectual، cultural، parliamentary، religious and social initiative will be launched during the conference to support the country's resistance in face of terrorism and extremist thinking.
The event will tackle the reasons behind terror and means of facing it from different religious، security، economic and parliamentary perspectives.
More than 40 countries will take part in the conference where 100 researches will be discussed، in addition، three debate sessions will be held to discuss the role of youth، media and women in spreading the culture of confronting terrorism.
