Abdel Mahmud Abdel Halim، Sudan’s Ambassador to Egypt has announced that his country inviting ministers of irrigations and heads of intelligence services in both Egypt and Ethiopia to a meeting in Khartoum on April 4،5.
The forthcoming meeting comes as implementing of recommendations of the tripartite summit held in Addis Ababa and attended by leaders of Egypt، Sudan and Ethiopia.
That meeting will discuss a number of files linked to Renaissance Dam that still under construction in Ethiopia.
The Sudanese ambassador added the innovation was delivered to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to pass it to the concerned bodies.
It is worth to mention that Ethiopia is constructing a high dam on the Blue Nile and its tributaries near the border line with Sudan.
Addis Ababa claims that the dam is consecrated only to produce electricity.
