Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr agreed on Tuesday with Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Yarub Qudah to establish an Egyptian-Jordanian joint coordination council.
This came during a meeting this evening at the ministry headquarters.
Nasr highlighted the close Egyptian-Jordanian relations and the Egyptian government's constant readiness to boost ties in various fields within the framework of historical ties between the two brotherly countries and their aspiration to build a strategic cooperation in the future.
The two sides discussed boosting economic cooperation and future development plans in Egypt and Jordan in order to achieve high growth rates for both countries.
The two sides agreed to establish an Egyptian-Jordanian Coordination Council، which will include a group of investors in all fields such as industry، agriculture and services، in addition to convening a forum for investment in Jordan.
