The memorial service for late former Egyptian Football Association (EFA) president Samir Zaher has drawn many of the sports stars and public figures to pay a final farewell as he rests in peace.
The funeral was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Khalid Abdul Aziz، Al-Ahly Vice President Al-Amri Farouk، Tala'ea El Gaish coach Halmi Tolan، former chief of staff Zakaria Azmy، and son of former President Hosni Mubarak Gamal Mubarak.
Former Egyptian Football Association (EFA) president Samir Zaher died on Tuesday after a long struggle with illness. He was 75.
Zaher served two spells in charge of the Egyptian football governing association - from 1996-99 and 2005-2012.
He was credited for a hugely-successful era for the Egyptian national team، mostly named as the golden generation that won the Nations Cup for Egypt in 2006، 2008 and 2010.
He resigned from his post following Egypt's worst football tragedy when over 70 Ahly fans were killed after being confronted by rival Masry supporters following an end of an ill-tempered league game in February، 2012.
